Our Policy
As a small, dedicated grooming salon, every appointment matters. Late cancellations or no-shows have a significant impact on our schedule and small business operations.
We groom one dog at a time to provide calm, focused care. Late cancellations or no-shows affect our schedule, so please review our policy before booking. Thank you for your support and understanding!

Our Grooming Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling
As a small grooming salon, we operate with limited bookings and groom only one dog at a time. Missed or late appointments greatly affect our schedule and business. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Rescheduling: Please call or text at least 3 days in advance if you need to reschedule.
Same-Day Rescheduling & Cancellations: We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to make a change. Last-minute cancellations make it hard for us to offer that time to another pup, so please let us know early if your plans change.
No-Shows: If you’re unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us. Repeated no-shows may affect future bookings.
Punctuality: Arriving on time ensures your pup receives their full grooming experience and allows us to stay on schedule for everyone. If you're running late, please reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Thank you for respecting our time and helping us continue to provide gentle, one-on-one care for every pup.
Fleas & Worms
To help keep our salon clean and comfortable for every pup, we kindly ask that your dog is up to date with regular flea and worm treatments before their appointment.
If we discover fleas or worms during grooming, we’ll need to treat your dog on the spot for their health and hygiene, this will incur an additional fee at the owner's expense.
Health, Medical Conditions & Senior Dogs
Your dog’s health and comfort are very important to us. Please let us know about any medical conditions, allergies, or physical concerns before their appointment, this allows us to provide the most suitable and gentle care.
We kindly ask that owners share any health or behavioural concerns in advance, as grooming dogs with underlying conditions or illness can carry risks.
Due to the extra care senior dogs often require, we currently do not accept new bookings for dogs over 12 years old.
Accident & Emergency
At WANROOM, your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. While we take every precaution to provide a safe and gentle grooming experience, accidents or unexpected health issues can occasionally happen.
In the rare event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you and urgent care is needed, we will seek veterinary assistance at our discretion to ensure your dog’s wellbeing. Any veterinary costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
Matted Dogs
We understand that life gets busy and sometimes brushing your pup at home can be a challenge! If your dog has mild matting, we may be able to gently brush it out for an extra fee (starting from $10 for every 10 minutes of de-matting).
However, if the matting is more severe and brushing would be painful or stressful for your dog, we may need to shave the coat for their comfort and wellbeing. We’ll always contact you first before going ahead with shaving. A $25 shaving fee will apply.
If shaving isn't approved, we won't be able to proceed with grooming or bathing, and your pup will need to be picked up as is.
Please note: In cases of heavy matting, it's not unusual for the skin to be red, itchy, or irritated after shaving. There may also be some licking, which is a natural reaction. We always do our best to keep your dog as comfortable and happy as possible.
Vaccination
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our furry visitors, we require all dogs to be fully vaccinated before their grooming appointment. This includes protection against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog’s vaccinations are up to date. If a dog is not fully vaccinated and becomes unwell, the responsibility will lie with the owner.
For puppies, we ask that they are at least 16 weeks old and have completed all three rounds of vaccinations before booking an appointment.
Behavioural Concerns & Aggressive Dogs
At WANROOM, we strive to provide a calm, gentle grooming experience for every pup. To help us keep the environment safe and stress-free, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance if your dog has ever shown signs of aggression, biting, or has any behavioural concerns.
If your dog becomes overly stressed, unwell, or shows signs of aggression during the appointment, we may need to stop the grooming for their safety and comfort—as well as ours. In this case, a partial fee will apply based on the grooming completed.
Social Media
We love sharing our happy, freshly groomed pups on social media! From time to time, we may take photos or short videos during or after your dog’s grooming session to showcase their cuteness and our work.
If you prefer not to have your dog featured, just let us know. We completely respect your privacy.
